August was a busy month for closings. Across Northwestern Vermont, there were 40% more closed sales for Single Family and Condo properties than July. This follows the historical seasonal trend as it's only a 12% increase from August of last year. When we compare this August to last year we see positive trends across the board:
New listings for all five counties increased nearly 7% to 494 properties.
Average sale price increased 12.75% to $256,374.
Closed sales increased 12% to 445.
Average Days on Market decreased 10% to 95 days.
