Fall Fairs and Festivals are Coming!

Fall in Vermont is second to none. There's nothing like breathing the crisp fall air surrounded by the foliage of the Green Mountains with your friends and family. Check out the events below and let us know which ones we missed!

Champlain Valley Fair

August 23 - September 1

The Champlain Valley Fair is in full swing and definitely worth checking out. In its 98th year, the fair is home to the demolition derby, petting zoos, show horse demos, carnival rides, games and live performances by Pat Benatar and Jason Derulo. Come see what makes Vermont so special.

South End Art Hop

September 6 - 8

Our favorite event of the year is here again! Right outside our front door, Burlington's South End District comes alive with art exhibits, live music, fashion shows and more. Tens of thousands of visitors descend on the South End to celebrate the city's artist community. Bring your friends and family to stroll down Pine Street and see everything Burlington has to offer.

Lagerfest @ Bolton Valley

September 14

Need a break from the constant stream of IPAs on the market? Check out Lagerfest Brewers Invitational at Bolton Valley. In its first year, this event features lagers from 9 Vermont breweries. Showcasing great Vermont lagers, delicious food, live music, Vermont's peak foliage and unbeatable sunsets, we think this event is definitely worth checking out.

Grand Point North

September 14 - 15

If you'd rather stay in Burlington that weekend, then check out Grand Point North. Grace Potter's annual festival comes to Burlington’s Waterfront Park September 14th and 15th. National artists headlining the event include Gov't Mule, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. The Burlington Waterfront is an awesome venue for a festival like this, and if you haven't been yet, you should make sure to put this one on your calendar.

Oktoberfest Vermont

September 20 - 21

Don your lederhosen and head back down to the Burlington Waterfront for 5th annual Oktoberfest Vermont. With over 100 beers, idyllic sunsets, good food, and oompa music, this Bavarian Beer Carnival is a blast.

Stowe Foliage Arts Festival

October 11-13

Head to the mountains and take in the foliage at the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival. View Vermont's fine art and craftwork while enjoying delicious food, beer, and wine. Original art, photography, sculptures and specialty food products will be on sale for locals and tourists alike.
