September saw a general increase in the price of single family homes sold across Northwestern Vermont as whole, up 10% compared to September 2017. However, when we look at counties individually we see that this increase was caused by a significant increase in the price of homes in Grand Isle. September average sale price more than doubled for single family homes compared to the same period last year.
Chittenden, Franklin, Washington, and Addison Counties all saw a decrease in the price of homes sold. That isn't to say that the market is showing signs of slowing any time soon, especially in the condo market. New condo listings increased nearly 12% over the same time last year and nearly 30% over last month.
