Mark Your Calendars for these September Events

September doesn't just mean the end of summer and back-to-school. This month marks the start of the fall season, and with fall comes a boatload of awesome events across Vermont! Here are a few of our favorites courtesy of the Vermont Real Estate Company team.

South End Art Hop
September 7 - 9
Pine Street is hosting the Art Hop for the 26th consecutive year right out our front door. This staple of Burlington’s South End showcases the city’s vibrant artist community. Featuring hundreds of exhibits, sculptures, fashion shows, music, live demos, and artist markets, this event is worth attending every year. This is one of our favorite events of the year so we hope to see you there!
Grand Point North
September 15 - 16
Grace Potter returns to Burlington’s Waterfront Park with the Grand Point North music festival September 15th and 16th. This year's bands include local favorites the Seth Yacovone Band, West End Blend, and Harsh Armadillo. National artists headlining the event include Jackson Browne, Ani Difranco, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats.
September 21 - 22
Enjoy this Bavarian-themed festival for the harvest on the Burlington Waterfront. In its fourth year, Oktoberfest Vermont offers great views, local food, great beer, and of course plenty of oompah music. Brewers include local favorites and classic German imports alike!

Champlain Mini Maker Faire
September 22
Great for young engineers, tinkerers, and artists alike, the Champlain Mini Maker Faire is a gathering of curious people who love to show off their crafts and inventions. Hosted at Shelburne Farms in late September, this is a great event to spend a Saturday afternoon with kids and adults of all ages.
Killington Fall Festival
September 22
The Killington Fall Festival is a great event to attend in southern Vermont. Hosted at the Foundry at Summit Pond on the Killington access road, this festival brings hard cider, craft beer, and local food together at the base of Vermont’s second tallest peak. This year’s vendors include Silo Distillery, Zero Gravity Brewery, and Champlain Orchards.
SIPtember-Fest
September 22 - 23
SIPtemberfest, the “Best Little Beer Festival in Vermont,” returns to Mad River Glen for its 11th anniversary. With only 800 tickets and 24 brewers, this event is worth attending! Tickets are surprisingly still available so head down to the Mad River Valley and enjoy Vermont’s legendary beer at one of Vermont’s legendary mountains.
Vermont Pumpkin Chuckin’ Festival
September 30
Love chili? Love cornhole? Love (or hate) pumpkins? Then close out September with the 10th annual Vermont Pumpkin Chuckin’ Festival. Hosted by Stoweflake Mountain Resort & Spa in Stowe, this fun and educational festival is a celebration of pumpkins and trebuchets. Come for the smashing pumpkins and stay for the Chili Cook-Off and Cornhole Tournament.
