Northwest Vermont REALTOR® Association Releases August 2024 Market Statistics 

Changes for August over last year at this time include:

• New Listings decreased 7.5 percent for single-family homes and increased 18.6 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
• Median Sold $/Sq. Ft. increased 11.7 percent for single-family homes and decreased 0.7 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
• Inventory increased 33.1 percent for single-family homes and increased 102.2 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
• The Median Sales Price was up 7.3 percent to $520,000 for single-family homes and increased 12 percent to $420,000 for townhouse-condo properties.
• Days on Market increased 25 percent to 10 days for single-family homes and increased 83.3 percent to 11 days for townhouse-condo properties.
• Closed Sales increased 10.1 percent for single-family homes to 185 and increased 47.3 percent for townhouse-condo properties to 81.
