Northwest Vermont REALTOR® Association Releases May 2023 Market Statistics

Changes for May over last year at this time include:

• New Listings increased 2.6 percent for single-family homes and decreased 22.2 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
• Median Sold $/Sq. Ft. increased 15.9 percent for single-family homes and 4.5 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
• Inventory increased 12 percent for single-family homes and decreased 8.6 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
• The Median Sales Price was up 10.5 percent to $486,000 for single-family homes and decreased 5.9 percent to $353,000 for townhouse-condo properties.
• Days on Market increased 20 percent for single-family homes and 20 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
• Closed Sales decreased 27.9 percent for single-family homes and 11.8 percent for townhouse-condo properties.
