The Perfect Pumpkin Bread for Fall

This perfectly-spiced pumpkin bread is the perfect way to say hello to fall and indulge in the warm, cozy flavors we all love at this time of year. Whether you’re enjoying a slice with your morning coffee, enjoying it as an afternoon snack, or bringing it to a festive gathering, this pumpkin bread is sure to leave people wanting more. 

Ingredients: 

  • 1 3/4 cups of pumpkin puree
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (for topping)
  • Baking spray for pans

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Prepare two loaf pans with baking spray to prevent sticking.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together all wet ingredients.
  4. Add your sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix until combined. 
  5. Add your flour and mix together.
  6. Add in your spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove) and mix until combined.
  7. Pour the mixture evenly into two loaf pans.
  8. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar on each loaf.
  9. Bake for 1 hour or until you can insert a toothpick and it comes out clean. 
  10. Set your loaves on a rack to cool. 
  11. Let cool for at least 10-15 minutes before serving.
