The Perfect Pumpkin Bread for Fall

Looking for a new treat to whip up in your kitchen this fall? This perfectly-spiced pumpkin bread is the perfect way to say hello to fall and indulge in the warm, cozy flavors we all love at this time of year. Whether you’re enjoying a slice with your morning coffee, enjoying it as an afternoon snack, or bringing it to a festive gathering, this pumpkin bread is sure to leave people wanting more.
Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups of pumpkin puree
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves
- 2 tablespoons of sugar (for topping)
- Baking spray for pans
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Prepare two loaf pans with baking spray to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, mix together all wet ingredients.
- Add your sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix until combined.
- Add your flour and mix together.
- Add in your spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove) and mix until combined.
- Pour the mixture evenly into two loaf pans.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sugar on each loaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until you can insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
- Set your loaves on a rack to cool.
- Let cool for at least 10-15 minutes before serving.
