This Weekend: Vermont Maple Festival

Maple season is here! That wonderful time of year when the mountains cling to the last vestiges of snow while the valleys show signs of spring. For the last half-century, maple season has been celebrated in true Vermont fashion in the city of St. Albans and this year is no different! The 53rd annual Vermont Maple Festival kicks off this Friday, April 26 and runs through Sunday.

Enjoy live entertainment, a crafts and antique show, exhibits, and presentations all weekend long. Leave work early and grab the kiddos Friday afternoon to take part in the Kid's Treasure Hunt and enjoy the Youth Talent Show! Make a day out of it on Saturday with the Pancake Breakfast in the morning, a Sugarhouse tour in the afternoon, and Morgan Myles on the main stage in the evening!

Sunday you can stretch your legs with the 8.5 mile Sap Run from Swanton to St. Albans. There are still a few days left to sign up! This celebration of all things maple is one of our favorite events in Northern Vermont. St. Albans is an easy 30 miles from Burlington and well worth the drive for Vermonters and out-of-staters alike!
