New North End (NNE)
Where the Winooski River meets Lake Champlain, this neighborhood's west side is right on the coast of Lake Champlain with easy access to the Island Line Bike Trail, North Beach Park, Leddy Beach, and a number of other scenic lakeside locations. Homeowners are the majority in this neighborhood with owners being a mix from young professionals to retirees.
Old North End (ONE)
Located just above the downtown area, this community's west side runs along Lake Champlain with access to the Burlington Greenway (Bike Path) and its very own farmers market on the north side of the neighborhood. This community's wonderful ethnic diversity contributes to the wide variety of global cuisine, from Somali dishes at Kismayo Kitchen to Café Mamajuana, and ode to Dominican, Afro-Caribbean, and Spanish cultures.
The Hill Section
The beautiful section of Burlington is home to many victorian style homes with views of the lake. Home to the The University of Vermont Medical Center and Burlington Country Club, this neighborhood is great for those in search of an urban-suburban mix.
Five Sisters
Rumored to be named after the five daughters of this area's developer, there are 300 homes on the five streets that make up this quaint and perfectly positioned South End neighborhood. Tucked between downtown, the Hill Section, and the Waterfront, easily access trendy Pine Street shops and Interstate-89.
The South End
Located just south of Burlington's downtown, the South End is home to Oakledge Park, breweries, art studios, and a number of walkable area neighborhoods. Anchored by Pine Street, this neighborhood is the creative pulse of the city.
