Open House Cookies

They say that the key to selling a home or hosting an open house is to bake fresh cookies beforehand, so without further adieu: our famous chewy chocolate chip recipe. 

Ingredients:
2 cups flour
A pinch of salt 
1 tsp baking soda
1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
2 sticks unsalted butter (room temperature)
½ cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs (room temperature)
1 bag of chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. This next step could not be easier. Dump all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and mix until well combined. Use two spoons, and drop a good-sized spoonful onto an ungreased pan. Space them out about 2 inches apart. 

Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown, and good luck trying to wait long enough for them to cool down a bit to enjoy them!

Served best with a glass of milk, some ice cream, or even perfect for making a homemade ice cream sandwich!
