As a native Vermonter and University of Vermont grad, Kara is passionate about the Vermont real estate market and equipped with endless local knowledge. Kara was one of the most successful real estate agents with a leading Vermont company for nearly a decade before co-founding Vermont Real Estate Company in 2016. In 2022, Kara conducted 54 transactions and $25 million in sales.
With years of real estate experience, Kara has a diverse portfolio and is a listing specialist in vacation, resort, and multi-family properties. Kara was the buyer’s agent for both of HGTV’s Vermont home giveaways in recent years: the HGTV® Ultimate Retreat 2018 and the HGTV® Dream Home 2022. In addition, Kara owns several investment properties with both long- and short-term tenants, contributing to her expertise with investment property listings, including larger properties with 20+ units.
