Happy Holidays! Try this Snow Globe Cocktail

This drink is sure to ‘wow!’ any guests you have over this holiday season. It’s the Snow Globe cocktail, complete with your go-to Vermont gin. We used one of our favorites, Bar Hill Gin, to create this gorgeous drink.
For a delicious mocktail, simply remove the gin.
Ingredients:
- 2 ounces Gin
- 1 ounce lemon juice
- 1 ounce rosemary simple syrup
- Club soda
- Fresh rosemary (for garnish)
- Cranberries (for garnish)
- Ice
Supplies:
- Glasses
- Shaker
Rosemary Simple Syrup Instructions:
- To make your rosemary simple syrup, add 1 cup of water to a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
- Once boiling, add 1 cup of sugar and stir until it dissolves.
- Add 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary to the saucepan and let it boil for 60 seconds.
- Remove from heat and let the herbs steep for about 30 minutes as the syrup cools.
- Remove the rosemary using a slotted spoon. Strain the syrup into a glass bottle or jar.
- Store in the refrigerator until you’re ready to use it.
Snow Globe Instructions:
- Find a rounded glass with a flat bottom.
- Choose a sprig of rosemary to be your “tree.” The top of the sprig will be on the bottom of the glass to look more like a pine tree.
- Fill the bottom of your glass with about an inch of water. This is what will keep the rosemary in place.
- Add your rosemary into the glass and lean it against one of the sides of the glass.
- Add cranberries to the bottom of your glass for a pop of color.
- Once you have your sprigs where you want them, put your glasses in the freezer for 4-6 hours. (Overnight is best, if you are thinking ahead!)
Cocktail Instructions:
- Before removing the glasses from the freezer, it’s time to make your cocktail! Any clear cocktail will do, but we decided to make a holiday version of a gin fizz.
- Add your gin, lemon juice, rosemary simple syrup, and ice to a cocktail shaker.
- Shake well.
- Remove your glass from the freezer and pour your cocktail over top. Add chilled club soda on top until the rosemary sprigs are covered.
- Voila! You have your complete cocktail.
