Randolph is a small town in Orange County, surrounded by the Green Mountains and rolling farmland. The strong local community here has easy access to I-89, amenities, and activities year-round, making Randolph one of many places in Vermont worthy of calling home. 

 

Randolph is located in the eastern-central part of Vermont, in the White River Valley region. The central location straddles I-89, giving easy access to Burlington, Boston, and Montreal.. Vermont's capital, Montpelier, is an easy 30 minutes away and offers excellent local eats, shopping, and adventures.

 

Vermonters here enjoy a quiet, laid-back environment with a tight-knit community and beautiful landscapes to explore. Winter in Randolph is chilly and snowy, but there are many ways to enjoy it! Two very different ski resorts, Killington and the Middlebury Snow Bowl, are 45 minutes away. Killington "The Beast of the East," offers challenging terrain and a high-end experience for visitors. Whereas the Snow Bowl is a family-friendly spot nestled in the Green Mountains and offers lower-priced lift tickets and season passes. Don’t worry, the snow at the Snow Bowl can make for some epic days on the mountain. During the warmer spring and summer months, hiking in the Green Mountains and cycling around Randolph are great ways to explore. 

 

Throughout the year, local artisans, farmers, and craftspeople bring their wares to the Randolph Farmers Market, which are great places to get fresh veggies, bread, and more! Looking to catch a show? The Chandler Center for the Arts hosts a variety of musical artists and shows in a newly renovated facility, from stand-up comedy to plays from local troupes. In addition, the center hosts a summer camp and an art gallery that is consistently updated with works from around the state.   

 

Randolph schools are part of the Orange Southwest School District, which serves 846 students across three elementary schools, one technical school, and the middle/high school. Randolph elementary school-aged students attend Randolph Elementary, located across the street from the Middle/High School. The Randolph Union Middle/High School is the region's high school and serves students in grades 7-12.  

 

A significant employer in the area is the Gifford Medical Center, which was included in the 2022 Vermont Governor's Award for Excellence in Worksite Wellness. They have openings in a variety of positions, from program coordinators to RNs. DuBois & King operates all over the northeast, providing services such as site planning, engineering, and construction consulting.
